When it was?
Well, traffic jam is quite a common scene, especially in big cities where people waste a lot of time in these jams. I am going to talk about one such experience that I lately had where I was stuck in a jam for a long time. Actually, my friend and I planned a weekend.
Where you were going?
We decided to go to Ludhiana on weekend and have a lot of fun. We planned to go shopping, watch a movie in the cinema and later have a meal in a restaurant and come back home. I was pretty excited about the same and we planned to travel by bus. The next morning, when I reached the bus stop, I received a phone call from my friend who canceled the program for some reason but I decided to travel alone. I vividly remember it was a pretty hot day and I boarded a non air condition bus. It was fully packed and Somehow I managed to get a seat but the journey was quite uncomfortable. It had been hardly 30 minutes or so and the bus suddenly stopped.
Where you stuck
There was a huge jam and there was a long cue of vehicles ahead. The bus driver stopped the engine and went out to enquire. It was really difficult to spend the time, waiting on this bus. So I decided to play a game on my phone or listen to music. I hardly spend 15-20 minutes and my mobile battery got flat. In the meantime, we got to know that the jam is because of a road accident and it may take a long time before the police let the vehicles move.
How did you feel
It was the height of my patience because I couldn’t wait anymore and I was too irritated because of the constant honking and toxic fumes of other vehicles and that’s a reason why I decided to get off the bus and board a bus going the other direction. Finally after wasting around 4 hours. I was back home and I was really frustrated because a traffic jam completely ruined my weekend.
Well first of all thanks to the increasing technology that has made cars so affordable that nowadays almost every person can buy it which is, of course, a positive growth, however, it also has some downsides like it has increased the number of cars on roads due to that it is really common to get stuck in the traffic jams which kills a lot of time.
If I talk about myself I usually commute by my bike due to I do not get stuck in the traffic. But, once I remember I was going to Chandigarh for my exam with my father in a car. Actually was really worried about my exam because it was on the next day and I wanted to pass it with flying colors. Our journey was going smooth but as soon as we reached Patiala we got stuck in the jam.
Firstly, we thought it will be cleared immediately but when one of the police officers came and said that this jam is still Chandigarh and it will take a minimum of 4 hrs to clear. I was aw struck. At asked about the reason for traffic he informed me that this is because of the exam.
After that, we stepped out of the car and started talking to other people. No doubt it was a really stressful time for us but as there were other students as well who were there to attempt the exam, we discussed a lot of things as we were having plenty of time.
This traffic jam was like a blessing in disguise for me as I met a friend there who helped me a lot in my revision and solved my problem which was having some doubts. Honestly that 4 hours in a traffic jam really worked for me well and I got an 85% in my exam which is really great for me.
So this was the time when I got stuck in traffic.

Well, traffic jam is quite a common problem, especially in big cities where people waste a lot of time in these jams. Here I am going to talk about a situation when I got stuck in a traffic jam. Actually, it was the time during my 12th standard examination.
I had to reach for my exam and I was late by 20 minutes near the crossing where there was a huge traffic jam.I was already on time from my home but due to election in the city, there was too rush and I was stuck for nearly an hour.
I got frustrated and I did nothing but wait and tried to call my friends and get information about alternate routes one of my friends helped me with an alternative way to reach the exam centre. I got irritated and then I started to listen music and I tried to keep my mind stress free so I can sit fresh in the exam and give my best.
It was extremely irritating experience for me. I felt down in the dumps and because there was a lot of pollution that emitted by many vehicles. After an hour, I got a sense of relief and I was able to reach my school. So, this was the time when I got stuck in traffic.

Well, these days, traffic congestion is a major problem in many cities around the world. Getting stuck in traffic has become very common due to ever-increasing vehicles on roads. Here, I’m going to take this opportunity to talk about one particular occasion when I got stuck in traffic while going to a hill station.
Actually, during last summer vacation, I was free at home and was getting bored. I came across the idea to spend my leisure time in an adventurous way by visiting a famous hill station ‘Great River Side’. My three friends and I decided to go there by car in order to fully enjoy our journey.
As this place is around 500 miles from my hometown, we embarked on our journey early in the morning. Initially, the journey was quite adventurous because we enjoyed snow clad mountains, lush green valleys, and waterfalls. However, when we were 100 miles away from our destination, we got stuck in a huge traffic jam.
The reason for this traffic jam was a collision between a car and bus, which resulted in long queues of traffic. I must say it was extremely exhausted for us to wait for two hours there. Luckily, there was a small café within the walking distance, where we went and enjoyed some snacks and drinks.
Spending some time in the restaurant made us feel calm and relaxed. But, due to this, we arrived at our destination at midnight, so we didn’t find any suitable rooms in any good hotel.
Overall, it was a wonderful tour, except for the moments when we got stuck in a traffic jam.

Needless to say, traffic congestion is becoming a huge problem nowadays. This is due to the number of vehicles on the roads increasing and roads are in pathetic condition. Today, i am going to talk about a time when I was stuck in a traffic jam. It happened last year when I went to Amritsar with my family. We visited there to celebrate Diwali because this festival is celebrated in the Golden temple on a grand level. We started our journey very early around 5 am. But when we reached Amritsar, we got surprised to see the massive traffic jam there.
Actually, on the occasion of Diwali, people not only from my country but also from other nations visit the Golden temple in order to pay obeisance so, there are a plethora of vehicles on the road. At first, I felt irritated to see the jam but then I started surfing the internet about the history of the Golden temple. Moreover, I also came to know about the famous places in Amritsar through the internet. Although I tried to busy myself with my phone, I was exhausted due to the long journey. Finally, after 2 hours, we reached Golden temple. To be very honest, when I saw this wonderful building I forgot all my tiredness(fatigue).
I was completely mesmerized to see the decoration of the Golden temple which is done with amazing colorful lights. Despite the fact that(Although), I was stuck in a traffic jam but that day was an unforgettable day of my life.

Well, traffic jams, nowadays, are faced by everybody, no matter how big or small the city is. In fact, it has become an inevitable part for all and sundry. Here, I’d like to talk about one such instance, when I got stuck on clogged roads.
Coincidentally, it happened today morning only, while I was with my elder brother driving here. I come from Sunam and it’s a 2 hours drive from here. We started at around 7 A.M so that I could reach here by 9. I always make sure to arrive a little early before any exam or meeting, so that I manage to reach on time, even if I had any unexpected delays. And for the same reason, today also, I started half an hour early. But as soon as we entered the city, we saw congested roads. No cars were moving at all. Firstly, we waited for 10 minutes hoping that the jam might clear. But all wait in vain.
All the vehicles were at a standstill. Then, we asked other people about the clearing of the blockage. One of them said that it would take about an hour. I got worried, we thought of taking another route by going a little distance back, but there was a long queue behind. But I had to reach here on time, so my brother told me to get off the car and cross the jam by walking. I did the same, it took me around 15 minutes to cover that clogged area. It was such an unpleasant experience. But, then, I got an auto luckily, and able to reach here on time. At last, I’d say that I felt the importance of keeping extra time. If I didn’t have that spare half hour, I don’t think I would be able to make it.
