What the skill is? And Who did you learn it from?
Likewise, here I would like to talk about skills that I learned from my grandmother, that skills are gardening and recycling the products. My grandmother who is nearly 50 years of age now has spent most of the time in the village with my grandfather who is a farmer. Since I have moved to the city now every year in summer I used to spend one month with my grandmother in the village because I love to spend time with my grandparents. I grew up in a nuclear family with both parents’ busy jobs. Where my parents have very limited time for me
How did you learn it?
While staying with my grandmother, seeing her doing these activities I developed an interest and I requested her to teach me how to take care of plants and would find imaginative ways to recycle everything in her home. Now every morning, I spend two hours daily helping my grandma with her work.
I noticed two things firstly I must say she has profound knowledge of gardening and she introduced me to various types of plants and vegetables that are frequently grown at home. Even she told me about the nutrients found in soil and how we can improve the fertility from domestic waste. She used fruits and vegetable scraps from her kitchen for compost. Surprisingly, I was shocked after seeing enormous deep knowledge of plants.
Secondly, she would never dispose of old things and clothes, instead of throwing them outside or burning she made curtains, quilts, pillowcases, tablecloths, etc. like she recycled a jar and use them to hold spices, tea, grains, lentils, etc. she would keep me busy with art and craft activates like making old boxes into fun toys, cars.
I mostly learned everything by observing her and helping her with some reproducing and reusing, with old things and waste, accordingly. I started to implement her ideas in my house and as I grew it will become my habit.
How did you feel about it? & Conclusion:
I not only learn about gardening but recycling things is one best way to improve global warming lastly I am glad that I’m doing my part in saving the planet with the blessings of my grandmother.

It is irrefutable that we learn a number of skills from our elders growing up, such as cooking, making decisions, farming, and most importantly communicating with others. Many skills seniors learned are not taught to children in today’s society, but the skills may still be beneficial.
I listen to my elder person, not because they are always correct, but because they have more experience in being inaccurate. Just living for so many decades gives them the advantage of seeing the world extensively and understanding people accurately. They offer invaluable wisdom that can sustain you for a long time – if you are eagerly listening. Honestly speaking, I’m one of those people who loves to spend a lot of time with their elders, and I have learned numerous skills from them. The skill which I consider the key skill is PRIORITIZATION. I think everybody needs this skill to make the best use of their own efforts.
My grandfather taught me this skill and it helped me a lot as started analyzing My chores and prioritizing them based on the urgency and importance of each task. Now I complete all my important work before the deadline. According to my perspective, prioritizing is a leadership skill It involves identifying critical tasks and managing them without getting distracted by less important matters.
At first, it was quite difficult for me to learn the skills but my grandfather helped me. He gave me some under suggestions that I should make a list which consists of all the work I have to do in a day And then identify what is important. He advised me to avoid competing priorities and considerable effort. This is how I learned this crucial life skill with the help of my grandfather. I believe everybody must learn the skill.
