Introduction

In this modern era where traffic congestion and pollution have become an integral part of our lives, visiting a park always makes us feel close to nature. And with changing times, the design and purpose of gardens have changed a lot.

Although I have been to numerous parks, no one has experienced massive development. Hence, it is worth mentioning.

Where is it?

Its name is City Park, and it’s just two kilometers away from my residence.

When did you visit it for the first time?

I vividly remember when my family shifted to our current accommodation ten years back; I visited it for the first time.

What changes have happened?

It was an ordinary park with simple landscaping; only the older generation would come here to relax. However, due to the earnest efforts of the local administration, this place has experienced a dramatic shift.

Firstly in the center, there is a beautiful fountain with lighting, it looks significant at night. Apart from that, on all the corners, the administration has installed wind chimes, and when there is a breeze going on, many sounds are soothing for the ears. Lastly, a few shops have opened which provide various eatables so that the visitors can pamper their appetite while having a walk or play.

Are these changes good or bad?

These changes are good because they have increased the footfall in the park. Moreover, due to the improvements, it is no longer a park for only older adults; people from all walks of life come here to pass their leisure time.
