I’d have to admit that when I read this topic my heart sank because I’m not familiar with rivers or lakes in my country so I’m really sorry for the lack of ideas about this particular topic but I could talk about a lake called Sukhna lake which is located in the beautiful city called Chandigarh.

If I’m not mistaken, this lake comes from the Shivalik hills and the depth of this lake would be roughly 8-10 ft so one can easily swim in it. One of the major reasons why this lake is important is that it’s a tourist hotspot, especially on weekends. I’ve also taken a notice of this place where people go there to recharge their batteries with their family members.

How do I know about this lake? well, I’m not entirely sure when did I hear about this lake for the first time but I guess it was a few years back when I have been on a trip to Sukhna lake. Visiting Sukhna Lake might be a normal experience for you but speaking for myself, when I saw this for the first time, it had a view to die for.

I’m fascinated by loads of things at Sukhna lakes such as boating, and ducks, and it’s the best lake for bird watchers. It’s certainly the most famous lake in Punjab. In answer to the question, how does it impress me so much, well, The lake turns absolutely breathtaking during the time of sunrise and sunset when the water mirrors the various hues of the sky and that’s really appealing to me.
