I recently acquired a laptop that I find quite challenging to use. I obtained it about two months ago, with the intent of using it primarily for work and research purposes. Despite my initial excitement about its capabilities, I have encountered a number of difficulties in navigating and utilizing its various features.

One of the primary challenges I have encountered is the complex interface of the device. The laptop is equipped with a wide array of software and applications, many of which I am not familiar with. As a result, I often find myself struggling to access and utilize the tools that I need for my work. Furthermore, the device is not particularly user-friendly, making it difficult to navigate and customize settings to my liking.

In terms of usage, I would estimate that I use the laptop on a daily basis. However, due to the aforementioned challenges, I often find myself spending more time trying to figure out how to use the device than actually completing tasks on it.

I acquired a projector about a year ago with the intention of using it for presentations at work. However, I have found it to be quite challenging to operate.

We live in a time where technology has made it possible to do many things considered unimaginable in the past.
• But it has also come at the cost of simplicity.
• Today, I would like to talk about a washing machine, which offers so many features but is also very
complicated to use.
• Recently, our previous washing machine broke down and we decided to buy a new one.
• I compared the different models online and ultimately decided on a Gen Z model from a
famous company.
• It boasted 102 different washing modes for different types of clothes.
• None of the other models came even close to it.
• When I bought, I never thought if I really needed 102 modes.
• There are 102 different modes, but it is impossible for the machine to have 102 buttons.
• The modes have to be changed and selected on the basis of just 10 buttons.

Our life is full of technology. In fact, we use technology from waking up to sleeping. A few
examples are all kitchen gadgets, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, mobile phones, laptops, cars, and so on.

I think it is a game of constant one-upmanship. Companies are trying to cram in more and more features trying to outdo each other without really thinking about what is essential. For example, there are mobile phones out there with more than 10 cameras.
3. Why are people so enthusiastic about buying newer iPhone models, even when nothing much
changes?
I think the main reason is that people want to show off that they own the latest model.
Moreover, I think buying something new makes it exciting. We don’t have the same bonds with
products we earlier did and thus its very easy to throw away the older model for the newer one.
