“Greetings IELTS aspirants!
It’s that time of the year again when we get to predict the format of the upcoming IELTS exam. As an experienced IELTS trainer, I can say that these predictions can help you get an idea of what to expect on test day and assist you in your preparation. Here is my prediction for the 16th February 2023 IELTS exam:
Listening:
Section 1: Blanks (Two words) – The pace of the recording will be slow.
Section 2: Diagram+ Short A/Q+ Matching – This section will require you to match information and answer short questions based on a diagram.
Section 3: Table completion+ process + Short A/Q – This section will require you to complete a table and answer short questions based on a process.
Section 4: Fill ups (One word) – The pace of the recording in this section will be fast.
Overall, I would say the Listening section of the 16th February 2023 IELTS exam will be of EASY difficulty.
Reading:
Passage 1: Blanks+T/F/NG+ Writer’s view – This passage will require you to fill in the blanks, answer true/false/not given questions, and understand the writer’s viewpoint.
Passage 2: Heading+ Summary+ Matching ending – This passage will require you to match headings to summaries and match endings to the beginning of sentences.
Passage 3: Blanks+ MCQ+ Y/N/NG – This passage will require you to fill in the blanks, answer multiple-choice questions, and answer yes/no/not given questions.
Overall, I would say the Reading section of the 16th February 2023 IELTS exam will be of moderate difficulty.
Writing:
Task 1: Bar, Table, process +Combination + Multiple Graphs – One Graph or chart will came from given list which you will have to write
Task 2, you can expect to write an essay on one of the following topics: Advantages outweigh Disadvantages, Discuss both views, Problematic or a Direct question type.
Speaking:
Intro-Questions: 1-10 – This section will consist of 10 introductory questions.
Cue-Card: 1-12 – This section will consist of 12 cue cards.
